Type A

Your creative linguistic choices in Kongish make you a part of the extraordinarily creative new generation in Hong Kong. Also your reluctance to speak or write like a Mainland Chinese deems you a self-conscious language user who is immune to the language norm. You might be seen by the older generation as a provocative language user who does not comply with the dominant group in society.

Type B

You are a typical internet user who mainly code-mix a lot. You could either be a bilingual speaker with a high competency in Cantonese and English. Or you could be not so good at both languages. If you belong to the former group, you could attempt to create your own language. You would be seen as a very creative language user. If you fall into the latter group, be careful and not to mix up the two languages and their grammars when you write.

Type C

You would be perceived as a mainlander with your substantial use of Mainland vocabularies in your speech and text. You tend to have a lot of friends on apps like Weixin or QQ. If you want to integrate into the Hong Kong community, or get to know more about the pop culture, you may want to adjust your language use. If you do so, you would become very popular among the young people in Hong Kong.
